The best AI sales roleplay tools in 2026, scored and compared

You get good at selling by doing it, but live prospects are the ones you cannot afford to fumble. We scored the AI tools that let you practise first, and picked a winner.

The problem these tools solve

Selling is a skill you only build by reps, and the only place most people get to practise is on real prospects, the ones you cannot afford to fumble. So reps learn on live deals, badly, and never find out which part of the call is losing them the sale. AI sales roleplay tools fix that by giving you a buyer who pushes back, so you make your mistakes in a room where it does not cost you a deal.

The category has grown fast, and the tools differ more than they look. We scored the main ones so you can pick by what you actually need.

How we scored

Each tool is scored out of 100 on five things:

  • Core capability, how well it runs a realistic roleplay and scores the call: 40 points.
  • Ease of use, how quickly a rep can start without a contract or a rollout: 15 points.
  • Value for the money: 20 points.
  • Flexibility, personas, languages, call modes and integrations: 15 points.
  • Support and reliability: 10 points.

The contenders, scored

Hyperbound (88/100). A Y Combinator backed platform built around real-time audio roleplay for cold calls, warm calls and discovery. A rep picks a scenario and dials an AI buyer that talks back and pushes back, then gets the call scored. It has a genuine free tier with pre-built bots, unlimited call time, transcripts and AI coaching feedback and no credit card, so a rep or a small team can start the same day. Team pricing is custom. It scores highest because it is both the most capable for the common cold-call and SDR case and the easiest to actually start using.

Second Nature (76/100). Structured roleplay built around 3D animated avatars, aimed at onboarding, certification and large-scale training across sales and other customer-facing teams, with support for more than 24 languages. It is strong for a training department, but it does not sell a self-serve plan and is reported to run roughly $30 to $40 per seat per month with about a $20,000 annual minimum, so it is a rollout, not a same-day start.

PitchMonster (73/100). AI buyers that adapt to objections across phone, face-to-face and screen-share modes and more than 27 languages, aimed at ramping reps and coaching at scale. Capable and broad, but there is no free plan, pricing starts around $1,200 per quarter per seat, and it is a demo-gated annual contract.

Quantified (70/100). Built for regulated industries such as life sciences, medical devices and financial services, where roleplay has to support approved messaging, compliance scoring and audit-ready records. Very high realism, but enterprise-only with custom contracts and an implementation measured in months, which is overkill for anyone who just wants to practise.

The winner

Hyperbound. It wins on the thing that matters most, running a realistic call that fights back, and it is the only one you can start the same day for free. If you run an SDR team or you are an individual rep who wants cold-call and discovery reps without a procurement cycle, it is the one to try first.

The best roleplay tool is the one you will actually open before the call, not the one that took a quarter to roll out.

Another way to get the reps in

If a standalone roleplay platform, a seat minimum or an annual contract is more than you want right now, there is a lighter on-ramp. Sales Trainer on Bizwax lets you pick a buyer persona, a goal such as qualify, book a demo or close, and how hard you want the buyer to push, then run the call with a coach in your ear that tells you where it actually went wrong. Every session saves to your Library, so you can see a week of calls in one place. No contract, no seat minimum, no sales call to start.

The part that changes the math: Sales Trainer is one tool in a single Bizwax subscription, not a separate bill. The same plan includes the rest of the catalog, so you can validate the idea behind the pitch with the MOAT Evaluator, pressure-test a hard call with AI Consensus, and chat across every model in BizChat, all for one price that is less than a single one of the point tools it stands in for. You get the practice, and a dozen other jobs done, without adding another subscription.
