AI might be an existential threat. The one that will actually hit your business is getting left behind
AI is back in the headlines with warnings it could end humanity by the end of the decade. I cannot tell you if that is real. I can tell you about the threat that is already here.
The headline
AI is back in the headlines, with warnings that it could pose an existential threat to humanity before the end of the decade. Anthropic's alignment lead, Evan Hubinger, said publicly that he and colleagues 'earnestly believe AI could kill all humans,' and put his own estimate above 10 percent in the next decade. Another Anthropic researcher resigned over safety concerns the same week.
Is that going to happen? I do not know. I do not see the ins and outs of AI development every day, and I am not going to pretend I can predict where this technology ultimately takes us.
The threat I can actually see
There is one threat I can see happening right now, and it is not science fiction. People and businesses are going to get left behind.
AI is already changing how we work, create, market, research, communicate, and run businesses. Ignoring it does not stop that transition, it just means it happens without you. The gap between the people using this technology every day and the people watching from the sidelines is widening by the month.
Take the reins
So it is time to take the reins. Learn how to use AI. Add it to your everyday tasks. Automate the repetitive work. Use it to increase your capacity, sharpen your processes, and accomplish more with the time you already have.
You do not need to become an AI engineer. But you do need to understand how to make this technology work for you. The revolution is already here. The only question is whether you watch it happen or take part in it.
A simpler on-ramp
This is the reason we built Bizwax the way we did: an AI toolbox for founders, small businesses and entrepreneurs who do not have time to become AI experts, but cannot afford to be left behind. You do not wire anything up or manage a dozen subscriptions. You open a tool and get the work done.
Chat across every model in one place with BizChat, ask questions of your own documents in Insight Lab, turn one piece of content into five with Repurposer, and pressure-test a decision against a panel of models in the MOAT Evaluator. All behind one account, for one price, so adding AI to how you work is a login, not a project. Start participating instead of watching.
