Branding

A mission you can say in one sentence.

Your About page says you are passionate about delivering value, which is what everyone else says. WHOLab asks three questions instead: the hard thing you went through, the person you want to help, and what you want for them. It connects the three into a mission sentence, and builds the tagline, bio and about paragraph from it.

What it does

Built on the WHO Test

Dan Martell's framework: your purpose usually sits next to the hardest thing you have lived through. Three questions, in that order, so the mission comes from your story instead of a word bank.

Three versions, not one

Each run returns three one-sentence missions in different tones, warm, punchy and plain, so you pick the one you can actually say to a customer rather than editing the only one you were given.

A short explanation of why it fits

A few sentences on how your answers connect, which is the part that tells you whether the mission is true or just tidy.

The messaging that comes after it

A tagline, a one-line bio, an about paragraph and a couple of content hooks, all built from the mission, so the wording on your site and your profiles finally matches.

Your answers, handled carefully

The hard thing you share shapes the mission but is never quoted back or put in the saved file. Only the mission and the messaging kit are kept in your Library.

How a session goes

  1. 1

Answer the three questions: the hard thing, the person you want to help, and the change you want for them.

  2. 2

Pick a voice if you want one, or let it find its own.

  3. 3

Generate, and read the three missions and the reflection.

  4. 4

Choose the one that rings true, then copy the tagline, bio, about paragraph and hooks.

The WHOLab questions: the wound, the human and the outcome, each with a short prompt and an example answer filled in.
Three questions. The first one is only as detailed as you want it to be.

What people use it for

  • The coach whose About page reads like everybody else's and who needs one line that does not
  • The founder who freezes when an investor asks why they started the company
  • The nonprofit rewriting its mission statement before a grant application
  • The consultant whose bio, website and LinkedIn all describe a slightly different business

Which key it uses

WHOLab calls Anthropic. On a paid plan, add a key for any of them under Account → API keys and that provider bills you directly — no credits spent. Without a key, runs spend from your included plan credits instead, and you are told when that happens.

Questions

Is this affiliated with Dan Martell?
No. WHOLab applies his WHO Test framework, and he has not endorsed it. The method is his; the tool is ours.
What happens to the personal answer I give?
It is sent with that one run to write your mission, and it is not quoted back or included in what is saved to your Library. Each run is kept in your account so you can reopen it, which includes your answers; delete the run and they go with it.
Is this therapy?
No, and it will not pretend to be. It writes a mission statement from what you tell it. It does not diagnose anything or give advice about the experience itself.
Does this use my API key or my credits?
One run is one call to Anthropic's Claude, on your own key or your plan's credits. Rewriting is another run.
Where does my work go?
Everything you make is saved to your Library automatically, so it survives closing the tab. You choose what, if anything, to share to Creations.
