What to look for

• Does it look like you? A money-back guarantee or a free redo is the best protection against a portrait that is somebody else with your hair.
• What you pay for: most sell one-time packs of a set number of headshots, not a subscription.
• Turnaround: from about 15 minutes on the dearest packs to a couple of hours on the cheapest.
• Your face data: how long your uploaded photos are kept, and whether they train anything beyond your own session.

Prices below are from each company's own pricing page, checked on 28 September 2026. They change often, and several were showing discounts, so check before you buy.

HeadshotPro. One-time packs from $29 for 30 headshots in about two hours, or $39 for 50 in about 30 minutes with one free redo. Team plans are priced per person with an admin dashboard. It offers a money-back guarantee if the photos do not look like you, and says uploaded photos are deleted 30 days after generation and never used for training.

Aragon AI. One-time packs from $35 for 40 headshots in about 45 minutes, up to $75 for 100 with every outfit and backdrop at a higher resolution. Refunds are available within 14 days, but downloading any photo makes you ineligible. For one-off customers it says face data is deleted within 30 days of delivery.

BetterPic. The only one with a free tier, up to 10 headshots delivered through a queue. Paid packs start at $35 for 20 headshots in one style, or $39 for 60 in three styles, all in 4K, from around eight casual photos. Refunds within 7 days, and none after a download.

Secta Labs. One plan at $49, results in under two hours, with a Remix feature for editing a result and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The pick

HeadshotPro for most people: the lowest entry price, a guarantee if it does not look like you, and a clear deletion policy. BetterPic if you want to see a free result before paying, Aragon if you want the widest spread of outfits and backdrops, and Secta if a long money-back window matters most.

Another way: pay per portrait, not per pack

Headshot Studio on BizWax.Ai works differently. It runs on your own AI provider key, so you pay the provider per image instead of buying a pack you may only need a few photos from. Upload three to ten photos of yourself, pick one of ten looks, ten backdrop colours and six lighting styles, and choose headshot, mid shot or full body. Each session is kept, so you can try another backdrop later without uploading again, and deleting the session deletes your photos with it.
